It began on a porch

The morning that started all of this

Waffles, fresh eggs and sausage on a blanket with my children, watching flights of birds cut across a bright sky. That breakfast is on the menu now, as the Slow Morning Musing Box.

From the garden

Born on the porch, and in the garden

Eggs from our own hens, herbs and produce from a few steps outside the kitchen. It is the same food we make for our own family table.
